The European Poker Tour, sponsored by PokerStars, is about to take its second season on the road and you can be a part of the magnificent adventure.
Last year, the EPT was an experiment that turned into the greatest thing in European poker, drawing players from all over the world and turning some of them into instant stars. Now, you have your chance to visit some of the most historic, exotic locales in Europe and compete for some of the biggest prize pools in European history.
This year, the EPT is upping the ante and doubling the buy-ins for the preliminary events from 2,000 euro to 4,000 euro. That means the prize pools will be even bigger and give satellite winners even more in return for their efforts.
The EPT also promises to be a major television event. Last year, the EPT taped only the final table of most events. This year, however, the EPT is introducing televised show tables which will provide more in-depth coverage of the poker action.
The EPT Grand Final will be held in the luxurious city of Monte Carlo, Monaco. Last year, Holland's Rob Hollink won 650,000 euro in the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final.
The European Poker Tour Schedule:
Casino de Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain) - Sept. 16-17, 4,000 euro (buy-in)
